Turning Up the Heat in Lola’s Cocina: Meeexiiicooo Interview

Lola in Oaxaca

This past month has been rather busy in Lola’s Cocina! I celebrated my blog’s second anniversary with fun social media contests and giveaways, hosted my inaugural Day of the Dead Cooking Class, and became a contributor for Meeexiiicooo. As you can see, Lola’s Cocina has been turning up the heat!

Meeexiiicooo is a bilingual lifestyle blog that highlights the beauty of Mexican culture, people, and food. Its goal is to “create a community where people who are passionate about Mexico can share recipes, art, photography, travel tips, fashion, decor, and personal stories.” Now that I’m a Cocina Contributor, you’ll have access to some of my delicious recipes as well as those of amazing food bloggers from throughout the country (and even the UK!) including Kate Ramos from Hola Jalapeño, Nicole Makrinos from Flan and Apple Pie, Karla Zazueta from Mexican Food Memories, and Susana Villasuso from Hola Sus.

I also had the opportunity to get up close and personal during an interview for the Gente  (People) section of the blog, which you can find here.

Meeexiiicooo gift!

This is a lovely handmade gift I received from the Meeexiiicooo team for joining as a contributor — I’m not sure how they knew about my obsession with Día de los Muertos and cutting boards!

Love to see what you have done with the simple idea of preserving family recipes!
